Honors 122/123: Honors World Literature I and II

Course Objectives

HRS 122/123 are similar to ENG 120/121 in their course descriptions and core requirements. These courses differ from regular World Literature courses in their emphases and course formats. These courses, taught in a seminar style, further develop student critical thinking, ability to analyze texts, and writing. All students in HRS 123 courses choose, in consultation with the instructor, a work on a non-Western writer on which they write a 10-15 page paper featuring personal analysis and secondary sources.
