Muskogee Creek-Cherokee novelist and literary critic CRAIG WOMACK is the author of Drowning in Fire (U of Arizona P) and Red on Red: Native American Literary Separatism (U of Minnesota P). He is the 2002 winner of the Wordcraft Circle Writer of the Year. He taught Native American studies at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, then at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Currently, he teaches nineteenth and early twentieth century Native American literatures, as well as Gay and Lesbian literature at Oklahoma University. |
