KAREN LIST WINGETT
grew up in Yankton, SD. She earned a BA in English from Yankton College and an MA in
English from the University of South Dakota. She taught English for five years in South
Dakota, and for 28 years in Norfolk, Nebraska. Her poetry has been published in
Mid-America Poetry Review, Poetry Motel, Nebraska Life Magazine, South Dakota
Magazine, the Nebraska Poets’ Calendar, and in the anthology
Times of Sorrow, Times of Grace. Besides reading and writing, she devotes time to
travel, antiques, and conducting workshops with her husband which combine his love and
hers, Adlerian psychology and creative writing.
