DAVID PHILIP MULLINS is the author of the forthcoming collection of short stories True Love Vs the Cigar Store Indian (Sarabande Books), which won the 2009 Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction. He is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. His stories have appeared or are forthcoming in The Yale Review, The Massachusetts Review, New England Review, Cimarron Review, Fiction, and North Dakota Quarterly and have twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. He has received awards from Yaddo, MacDowell, and the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and teaches creative writing at Creighton University. |
