MICHAEL LAWLER is the author of the novel Particular Friends (iUniverse, 2004), Dr Lawler is Professor of Theology at Creighton University. He holds an STL from the Gregorian University in Rome and PhD. from the Aquinas Institute of Theology in St Louis. He is the author of more than a dozen books of theology, among them Marriage and Sacrament: A Theology of Christian Marriage (Liturgical Press, 1993) and Church: A Spirited Communion (Liturgical Press, 1994), Symbol and Sacrament (Creighton University Press, 1995), and, with Dr Gail Risch, Practical Theology (Creighton University Press, 2000).
