For a time, poet ROBERT KING lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he was a Visiting Professor of English at the University of Nebraska. Born in
Colorado, he attended Colorado State University and the University of Iowa, teaching most of his career at the University of North Dakota from which
he retired in 1995 as Professor Emeritus. His work has appeared in anthologies as well as magazines including Ascent, Blue Unicorn, Great River
Review, The Malahat Review, Massachusetts Review, Nebraska Review, North Dakota Quarterly, Poetry, and Rattle. He has published several
chapbooks (Learning American, Naming Names, and What It Was Like are available at his website http//:robertkingpoet.com) and his most
recent, Rodin & Co., won the 2011 Grayson Books Chapbook Competition. His full length book of poems, Old Man Laughing (Ghost Road
Press), was a finalist for the 2007 Colorado Book Award in Poetry. He is also interested in creative non-fiction and his book Stepping Twice
into the River was a finalist for the 2005 Colorado Book Award in Creative Non-Fiction. He now lives in Greeley, Colorado, where he continues
