KC GREENLIEF (the pseudonym of BRENDA HALL), was born in West Virginia and has lived all across the Midwest, including sixteen years in Wisconsin, the setting for her first novel, Cold Hunter's Moon (Minotaur/St Martin's). In 1997 she moved to Scottsbluff, where she is vice president of patient care services at Regional West Medical Hospital. She is also the author of Death at the Door (St Martin's/Minotaur). She moved to Scottsbluff in 1997 after having lived in Wisconsin for sixteen years. She and her husband live with two golden retrievers and thousands of books.
