SHERRIE FLICK
received a Masters Degree from University of Nebraska
Lincoln in 1996. Flume Press recently published I Call This Flirting,
her chapbook of short-short fiction, which won the 2003-04 Flume Press
Fiction Chapbook Award. Her short fiction has been published in numerous
literary journals, including Black Warrior Review, North American Review,
Quarterly West, Prairie Schooner, and Puerto del Sol. She has received fellowships
from the Sewanee Writers' Conference, the Ucross Foundation, and the Atlantic
Center for the Arts. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she is
artistic director of the Gist Street Reading series
