Charlotte Zoe Walker, under the name Charlotte Mendez, published a novel called Condor and Hummingbird with Alice Walker's Wild Trees Press in 1986. The book was later published in England by The Women's Press in 1987. She has published fifteen short stories, including one O. Henry award story (1991), and one honorable mention in Best American Short Stories (1993). She is Professor of English and Women's Studies at the State University of New York in Oneonta. |
