Rebecca Lee is a celebrated fiction writer and the winner of the
Rona
Jaffe Award for Fiction. In addition to her many other
publications, her
short story "The Banks of Vistula," was published in
The Atlantic
Monthly and was later performed on National Public Radio's
"Selected
Shorts." She teaches creative writing at the
University of North
CarolinaWilmington.

Richard Dooling

finalist Richard Dooling will read from his latest book,
Brainstorm, a
courtroom drama, an edge-of-your-seat thriller, and a thoughtful
examination of the complexities of hate crime. Dooling is

author of Critical Care, White Man's Grave, and Blue Streak.

Rooms Overhead, and The Red Line, which won the 1991 Associated

Explain and won the 1997 Felix Pollak Prize in Poetry, selected
by Rita
Dove.
