This quiz will cover the material discussed in class and the contents of the assigned readings (Caedmon's Hymn, the Dream of the Rood, and Beowulf). In your study you should emphasize information in your class notes. You may verify the accuracy of dates and names by consulting the chronologies at:

Notice that you are only responsible for dates, names and events brought up in class (you DON'T need to memorize all the material in the chronologies).

Regarding the texts assigned as reading (Caedmon's Hymn, the Dream of the Rood, and Beowulf) you should be familiar with their contents and basic information on their dates of composition and other relevant contextual facts (author, form, language, place of composition).
