In addition to writing novels, DAVID WILTSE, born in Lincoln in 1940 and a graduate of the University of Nebraska, is also the author of plays, television scripts, film scripts, and magazine articles. In 1972 he received the Drama Desk Award as most promising playwright for his play Suggs. He received the Edgar Allan Poe Award from Mystery Writers of America in 1981 for the teleplay of Revenge of the Stepford Wives. He also created the television series Ladies Man (CBS, 1980) and has served as a contributing editor for Tennis magazine. His most reent of eleven novels is The Hangman's Knot, set in Falls City, Nebraska. |
