CHRISTOPHER THOMAS was born in Royal, Nebraska, in 1974. He was born, raised, educated, and still lives in Antelope country. After graduating from high school he entered a writing program at a Colorado University only to discover he didn't enjoy the workshop experience or the poems being produced in them. He returned to Nebraska to work as a hired hand on ranches during the growing and harvest seasons but spends his winters writing and reading poetry. His favorite poets continue to be Amy Lowell, Theodore Roethke, Wallace Stevens, and Madeline DeFrees — but admits to being addicted to the works of countless others.
