ANA MARIE COX, Lincoln Southeast graduate, is the creator and writer of the infamous political blog Wonkette and the novel Dog Days (Riverhead Books, 2005). She’s a graduate of the University of Chicago. Her father was a University of Nebraska &#!51; Lincoln professor of finance and risk management. Cox, who has been described by the Wall Street Journal as "Queen of the Blogosphere, has written for Elle, Wired, Mother Jones, Slate, Salon, New York, and The New York Times Book Review, and other publications. She's at work on her second novel, which is scheduled for publication in time for the 2008 election.
