Born and raised in Lincoln, ALAN BOYE is a published writer of fiction, drama, and non-fiction. He is a gradue of the University of Nebraska Lincoln and has done advanced work at the University of Oregon and the University of Texas. He teaches writing at Vermont's Lyndon State College. His books include Guide to the Ghosts of Lincoln (1983), Complete Roadside Guide to Nebraska, with prefaces by Wright Morris and Ron Hansen (1989, 1992, 1993), and Holding Stone Hands: On the Trail of the Cheyenne Exodus of 1878 (University of Nebraska Press, 1999). |
