Poet and children's book author JAMES SOLHEIM is a graduate of
Northwest Missouri State University and the Iowa Writers Workshop. His work has
appeared in many literary magazines, including Kenyon Review, Northwest
Review, The Iowa Review, Missouri Review, Poetry, Poetry Northwest,
and elsewhere. He's especially interested in the long poem.
He's also the author of the children's books It's Disgusting —
and We Ate It! (Simon & Schuster),
Santa's Secrets Revealed (Carolrhoda Books), and
Born Yesterday (Philomel/Penguin, 2010).
