September is filled with literature festivals here in Nebraksa, from the
Omaha Lit Fest, taking place
all over downtown Omaha, September 16th & 17th, to the
Plum Creek Children's Literacy Festival, hosted at Concordia University in Seward,
September 22-24.
And let's not forget that
Banned Books Week is September 24-October 1.
But wait! There's more! Hard on the heels of
September comes this year's
Nebraska Book Festival, October 7-8, hosted by Nebraska
Wesleyan University in Lincoln. And then, before you've
had a chance to catch your second wind, here comes the
Nebraska Cowboy Poetry Gathering galloping our way,
October 13-16, in Valentine.
