DR JEAN A LUKESH is a longtime School Librarian, Media Specialist, Integration Specialist, Educator, Author, Editor, Publisher, and Presenter. She is the award-winning author of many books, including most recently Eagle of Delight: Portrait of the Plains Indian Girl in the White House, Sky Rider: The Story of Evelyn Sharp, World War II Wasp (2011), and Wolves in Blue: Stories of the North Brothers and Their Pawnee Scouts (2011). She holds the BA inEducation (Magna Cum Laude), Middle School Education, with endorsements in Language Arts, Social Sciences, General Science, and Educational Media; the MA in Education in English; the MA in Education in History; a Certificate in Publishing from The Denver University Publishing Institute, and the EdD (Doctor of Education) in Curriculum and Instruction (Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum). With her husband, commercial designer Ronald Lukesh, she founded Field Mouse Productions in 1995, with the primary mission of writing and publishing noteworthy fiction and nonfiction books, for children and adults, to celebrate the rich heritage and history of central Nebraska, particularly those subjects that are national in scope and importance.
