Nonfiction writer LISA KNOPP grew up in Burlington, Iowa. She is the author of Flight Dreams: A Life in the Midwestern Landscape, Field of Vision, and, most recently, The Nature of Home. Her essays have appeared in many places, including Shenandoah, Michigan Quarterly Review and ISLE (Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and the Environment. She has taught at the University of Southern Illinois in Carbondale and is currently on the faculty of the English department at the University of Nebraska Omaha, as well as the Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Nonfiction at Goucher College. She lives in Lincoln. |
