BEN GOTSCHALL grew up on a cattle ranch and dairy in the Sandhills of Holt County, Nebraska. He earned a degree in English from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Idaho. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Best New Poets 2007, Cadence of Hooves: A Celebration of Horses, Meridian, Nimrod, South Dakota Review, Cimarron Review, Poetry Southeast, and The MeadoW. Currently a Visiting Professor of English at Nebraska Wesleyan University, he is also the herdsman on Branched Oak farm near Raymond. |
