Meghan Daum, who holds the MFA from Columbia University,
is an essayist whose work has appeared in The
New Yorker, Glamour, Allure, Selp, Harper's, The New York Times Book Review, and on
NPR. Her collection of personal essays, My Misspent Youth, was a Los Angeles Times
best-seller. Her novel, The Quality of Life Report, will be
published by Viking in spring of 2003. A couple of years ago,
she moved from New
York City to Raymond, Nebraska, where she now lives. She is at work on
a screenplay of her novel, which is being produced by Radar Pictures.
